Nancy is an Independent Educational Consultant and College Admission Advisor, educator, writer, journalist, and communications professional. A relentless book hoarder and lover of beautiful college campuses, a lifelong student and a constantly growing and evolving teacher, an award-winning news reporter and producer, and a published writer. She has taught writing and literature at university, developed and mentored post-graduate writers, and guided hundreds of students and their families through the complexities of the college admission process.
Nancy is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Higher Education Consultants Association. Nancy is credentialed by UCLA's prestigious graduate-level College Counseling Certificate Program, from which she graduated With Distinction.
Nancy's three children all graduated from Greenhill School in Addison, Texas. Together they have earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia University, Northwestern University, Middlebury College, the University of Southern California, and Rice University.

At television stations from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Green Bay, Wisconsin, Nancy worked for more than 30 years as on-air anchor and reporter and in news management. At WBND, she managed the newsroom, planned news content and coverage, and represented the station and the wider community of journalists on committees that bridged the gap between the news media and the institutions they covered. At WWMT, she designed, managed, wrote, produced, and anchored nationally recognized documentaries. Elsewhere, as reporter and anchor, her job was to write and tell the important stories of the day – every day.
Nancy's professional work and leadership have been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the National Association of Television Program Executives, the Associated Press, and the National Association of Broadcasters. As a graduate student at Western Michigan University, she was named Creative Scholar and Graduate Research Fellow.
